Juventus Dominate Serie A Top Salaries
The famous Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport has just launched a list of the best paid players in Serie A this season. From a list of 20 players, Juventus became the dominant team by giving 13 names.
Cristiano Ronaldo has become the player with the biggest salary in Serie A. The Portuguese have received a salary of 31 million euros from Juventus this season. Besides being the highest in Serie A, this number also makes Ronaldo one of the highest paid athletes in the world.
The second position on the list published by La Gazzetta dello Sport belongs to the young defender of the Dutch national team, Matthijs de Ligt. The 20-year-old man will receive a salary of 8 million euros plus a premium of 4 million euros. In total, he received a salary of 12 million euros.
Romelu Lukaku is the only Inter Milan player to appear in the top 10. He received a salary of 7.5 million euros plus various bonuses of 1.5 million euros. In total, he received a salary of 9 million euros.
