Jorge Valdano is relieved that Neymar will not go to Madrid

Real Madrid legend Jorge Valdano was relieved that Neymar was not wearing a Los Blancos uniform. Not sure that Neymar can have a positive influence on young players in Madrid.

In the transfer market last summer, Neymar largely left Paris Saint-Germain. Apart from being interrupted, Neymar and the club directors are no longer harmonious.

Previously, Neymar was also penalized in July for being absent from PSG preparation training.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are the two most preferred teams for recruiting Neymar. However, until the closing of the transfer window, Neymar's status as a PSG player has not changed.

The failure to transfer Neymar was a relief to Valdano. He said the 27-year-old could hamper the development of young Brazilian players in Madrid such as Eder Militao, Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo.

"I don't want Neymar to join Madrid, he is a little confused about what it means to be a soccer player," Valdano was quoted as saying by the United States.
