In January, Chelsea Can Shop Players

The good news comes from one of the Premier League giants, Chelsea. According to reports, the club Frank Lampard could have bought a player in the January 2020 transfer slot.

As we know, Chelsea has just been sentenced to a transfer ban for two seasons by FIFA. The award was made after the transfer of young players violated the rules of the federation.

The sentence took effect last summer, leaving the Blues unable to do anything except rely on young players. In fact, they could not find a suitable replacement for Eden Hazard who moved to Real Madrid.

Luckily, young players like Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount played well. This is often Chelsea's assistant to avoid defeat. Although, so far, the score of the defending Europa League champions cannot be considered good.

The transfer ban imposed by FIFA prevented Chelsea from coming in with a new player, Christian Pulisic. And although the transfer process has been completed since last January, only the transfer from Borussia Dortmund could take place last June.

Chelsea did not surrender accepting his sentence. A few months before the opening of the transfer slot, the team's management appealed against FIFA, which was rejected. As a result, they continued their appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).

In his Metro report, Chelsea referred to Manchester City, who had escaped similar punishment. Therefore we can hope that their sentence can be reduced to a transfer window, which has been served this summer.

Later, the Daily Mirror reported that Chelsea officials were very confident that his appeal could be accepted by CAS. As such, they will also change to develop in the transfer market in January.

One area deemed to be Chelsea's focus is defense. Since David Luiz left for Arsenal, the Blues seem to give up more easily.

This season, they played five matches in two different events with only one win. While the other two matches ended in a draw and the rest were lost.

They have also conceded 11 goals so far. Four of them came from one of his rivals in England, Manchester United. During the inaugural week of the Premier League, they were completely defeated by a score of 0 to 4.
