Henrikh Mkhitaryan wants to give his best
Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has officially loaned Arsenal to Italian Serie A club AS Roma on Tuesday (3/9/2019). Mkhitaryan said he was very happy to start a new adventure in Italy.
"This is a great opportunity for me to start a new chapter with a big club," Mkhitaryan was quoted by Football5star.com of Football Italia.
"I know the purpose of this club and I am sure we can do great things with AS Roma," added Mkhitaryan.
Mkhitaryan who was loaned to AS Roma will receive 3 million euros and will receive a bonus of 100,000 euros. AS Roma Director Gianluca Petrachi said he was satisfied with Mkhitaryan's recruitment.
"Henrikh is very compatible with our desire to strengthen this team." "He will be an example for AS Roma's young players because he has the technical qualities and he will adapt quickly in Serie A," Petrachi said.
A career in Serie A will be a remedy for poor Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the English League. After trading with a dowry of 42 million euros to Manchester United 2016, he was only able to record 13 goals in 63 appearances in all competitions.
His appearance is different from that presented in the Borussia Dortmund defense. As a result, Manchester United have sacrificed themselves to bring in Arsenal's flagship player, Alexis Sanchez, in 2018.
Unfortunately at Arsenal, he was unable to show a brilliant performance. An injury that made him unable to play well in the Unai Emery team.
