Henrikh Mkhitaryan Released Arsenal on Loan Status to AS Roma
Arsenal released Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan on loan to AS Roma on the deadline day of the 2019 summer transfer window.
The departure of Henrikh Mkhitaryan could save Arsenal at least 46 million pounds (around 788 billion rupiah) per year.
Miki, as the player is often called, is one of the highest-paid players in the club nicknamed the Gunners.
Every week, Arsenal must pour out 180 thousand pounds (about three billion rupiah) to pay Miki.
However, with a large salary that bears, Mkhitaryan's appearance was not very impressive.
During one and a half seasons defending the Gunners, Mkhitaryan only packed nine goals and 13 assists from 59 appearances.
Previously, he joined Arsenal from Manchester United as part of an exchange of Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez in January 2018.
