Because Sanchez had to really leave Man United
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer opens the door to Alexis Sanchez's loan to Inter Milan. Sanchez really had to go because he did not work at MU.
Sanchez was loaned out to Inter for the 2019/2020 season. The Chilean footballer will try to revive his career after gradually moving to Manchester United for a year and a half.
At his new club, Sanchez will find Romelu Lukaku, who was bought by Inter at MU for 80 million euros earlier this month. Sanchez's departure weakened the choice of the Red Devils front line, especially because Anthony Martial is currently injured.
This means that Solskjaer must rely on young players Mason Greenwood and Andre Gomes to help Marcus Rashford. But Solskjaer believes that Sanchez's release will benefit all parties.
"I think Alexis really has to go," Solskjaer said. "Because at that time, we knew he had been here for 18 months and it really didn't work for him."
"For him too, starting again and having the opportunity to play regularly, be able to score goals, and loans will benefit everyone in the end."
"For us, we will see Romelu and Alexis playing together every week," concluded Solskjaer.
