The decision to re-treat Zinedine Zidane Real Madrid cannot be accepted by everyone. One of them is a former player for the Dutch national team, Gullit who was really surprised by Zizou's decision to move closer to the Santiago Bernabeu.
"For me it is very strange to see Zidane ready to return to Real Madrid. This can be a legend with a legacy he left behind. But why is it fair to return? He will not be able to repeat success in the past. This time it will be difficult.
Zidane's performance was in the spotlight following the recent defeat of Real Madrid Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League. Coming in France, Los Blancos was rolled 0-3 by Angel Di Maria et al.
Zidane had success in his first long-term coach at Real Madrid. Three Champions League titles in three consecutive seasons record so special that no coach has ever done. At least since the last format set.
In mid-2018, the former captain of the French national team resigned from his coaching position. After Zidane's death, Real Madrid was just a mess. Two coaches who believed in restoring performance, Julen Lopetegui and Santiago Solari, failed to complete the task.
Gullit was surprised to receive an incentive to offer Zidane back as Real Madrid coach. According to him, as Zizou was buried in the memory of the hole he left.
