Barcelona sets the highest wage standard in La Liga
Barcelona has the highest salary standard in La Liga with a maximum expenditure of 30 million euros higher than Real Madrid in this 2019/20 season.
The Catalan giant can spend a total of 671.42 million euros (10.6 billion rupees) in transfers and player salaries during this season. This number is expected to increase by 382.2 million euros (10 trillion rupees) last year, from 632.9 million euros to 38.52 million euros (613 billion rupees).
While Real Madrid remained in second place with a budget of 641 million euros (10.2 billion rupiah), compared to 74.55 million euros (1.18 billion rupiah) compared to last season's total. While Atletico, occupies the third position with a standard wage limit of 384.5 million euros (6.1 billion rupees), against 322.92 million euros (5.1 billion rupees) for the 2018/19 season.
For the promotion team, Real Mallorca, they have the lowest salary limit for La Liga this season. The club is only able to spend 29.96 million euros (476 billion rupees) for transfers and player salaries during this season.
The figures released by La Liga this week reflect the maximum amount the club can pay for the salaries of its players, as well as the salaries of coaching staff and other fields, such as young players from their academies, including in Barcelona. Salary limits include social security, plus transfer fees and agents that represent them.
To calculate the amount, La Liga also takes into account the club's income and operating costs. Each club sets its own limits in this regard, the figures are then validated by the La Liga committee. This amount can be adjusted if they later pocket the income or bring in new players.
The total expenditure of 20 clubs in La Liga for payment of salaries of players and their staff this season amounts to 2.94 billion euros (46,880 billion rupees).
Marca added that there are currently only five other clubs among the most competitive in Spain, whose salary limit exceeds 100 million euros (1.59 billion Rupiah). These are Sevilla, Valencia, Villarreal, Athletic Bilbao and Real Betis.
