West Ham Losing Mainstay Winger Until December

West Ham lost Michail Antonio until next December, after 29 years of surgery because of a hamstring injury he suffered.
This situation is certainly a pretty big blow to destroy Manuel Pellegrini's team, including the player himself, who has started this season brilliantly.

Michail Antonio had to retire when the game had been running for about seven minutes, when the Hammers won 2-0 over Newport in the League Cup last week. The scan also fully revealed the injury suffered by the player, and yesterday he was told he had to undergo surgery on Tuesday (3/9).

It was determined that Antonio was absent for three or four months, and certainly will not play for almost half of this 2019/20 season. This was stated by SunSport.

West Ham are certain to have an additional blow after a serious injury suffered by Antonio, because they recently sold Mexican striker Javier Hernández to Seville on the last day of the European transfer market.

The departure of Javier Hernández and his injury to Antonio will surely reduce the strength of his attack line. Antonio himself has been an important part of the Hammers first line, and the absence of this player will no doubt be a big loss for Pellegrini.

So far, this season, the Hammers have won two Premier League matches and are ranked seventh in the standings. Last season, Pellegrini's team continued to suffer losses in their first four matches.

Antonio has been rotating and turning off the team for several weeks at the start of the season, because Pellegrini continues to mix the front lines. Robert Snodgrass, Pablo Fornals, Andriy Yarmolenko and Felipe Anderson had to compete for a place in the initial formation, behind Sebastian Haller.

When the international break ends, West Ham will have until September 16, 2019, before traveling to Aston Villa, where Manchester United await next weekend.
