Watford Pecat Javi Gracia and Appoint Quique Sanchez Flores

Watford decided to fire Javi Gracia after the poor results achieved by the club. Thus, the Hornets became the first Premier League club to make a change of coach this season.

Gracia joined Watford in January 2018. He managed to bring the club to the FA Cup final last season  for the first time since 1984.

However, Gracia was kicked out after only one win in the last 10 matches. The only victory won by the Spaniard since April was against Division 2 side Coventry in the League Cup last month.

While in the Premier League this season, Watford only won one point from four matches. As a result, they are at the bottom of the standings.
"Javi has represented Watford with high self-esteem and will always be worthy of our full appreciation for all his achievements," said club chairman Scott Duxbury as reported by Metro.

The Hornets also confirmed, in addition to Garcia, all staff will also leave Vicarage Road. Everyone at the club hopes that Gracia and all of her staff will get the best in the future.

Watford did not take long to find successor Gracia. Interval 30 minutes after the sacking of Gracia, Quique Sanchez Flores was appointed as Watford coach.
Sanches Flores is no stranger to the Hornets. The Spaniard returned to Vicarage Road after handling the club in the 2015/16 season.

At that time, Sanchez Flores managed to deliver the club to finish in 13th place. He also took them to the FA Cup semifianl before moving to Espanyol.
