Virgil van Dijk Send Message to Rival: Liverpool Are Still Hungry for Victory

Liverpool's mainstay defender Virgil van Dijk sent a message to rivals stressing that his team was determined to wipe out the victory in subsequent matches.
Liverpool performed brilliantly in the Premier League stage last season by winning 97 points. But this achievement is not enough to lead the Reds to win the title because of its rival, Manchester City excels with 98 points.

This season, Liverpool began their impressive journey by sweeping away the win in the first four weeks. The Reds also temporarily firm at the top of the standings.
Now Liverpool are facing a hectic schedule with seven games before the players return to international break in October.

Van Dijk firmly set high targets in this busy schedule, even though they had been waiting for opponents who were not light, like Chelsea and Naples.
"We want to keep going, and we now want to win every game in front of us. There are seven games before the next international break. We want to win every game, so seven wins is our target. That's what we have to try to do," Van Dijk told The Mirror.

Furthermore, Van Dijk also believes that his team has the capability to continue to achieve victory while repeating the achievements of last season.
"It is very difficult to say whether the same points as last season this time will be enough [to win]. If you win, then that's the only way to think about it. We realize how good Manchester City are in the Premier League this season," said Van Dijk .

"But there are other competitions where we can achieve success. The next few weeks we will play on Saturday and Tuesday almost entirely. And there are some tough matches," he added.
"So we are aware that it will be difficult, both in this period and in the rest of the season. But we have the mentality and the players to win every game in front of us,
