Stables at Monza, Prema and Sean Determined to Perform OK

The incident at F2 Belgium whipped up the spirit of Prema Racing driver Sean Gelael. Sean was determined to achieve good results in the cage race at Monza.

Last week's Belgian race had to be postponed due to an accident that claimed the life of Anthoine Hubbert after a severe collision with Juan Manuel Correa round the corner.

The tragedy then made all the riders sad, including Sean who happened to be not far from where the tragedy took place. Luckily Sean survived because Halo on the car protected him from a broken car wing due to the incident.

A week passed, F2 was immediately held again at the Monza circuit, Saturday-Sunday, September 7-8. The shadows of last week's tragedy still remain in Sean's mind.
But, he did not want to make it as an excuse not to appear okay. Because Sean was asked to pursue as many points as possible in the remaining six races to improve his position. Moreover, Monza is the home of Prema which is a team from Italy.

"It's not easy to forget the tragedy in Belgium. But once we are on the track again, the best preparation we still have to do. That's our passion and instinct," said Rene Rosin as Team PREMA Principal in a release to detikSport.

"Maybe there is an additional effort for them to appear faster here," Rene added.

So far, Monza is a circuit that is technically capable of boosting Sean's appearance. This legendary track includes a fast circuit, with challenges in its two chicanes. Mistakes there can damage the rhythm of the rider.
