Sandro Mazzola: Lukaku won't score as many goals as Icardi

The greatness of Romelu Lukaku in the first two Serie A matches does not seem to make Inter Milan legend Sandro Mazzola amazed. Mazzola still assumed the bomber would not be better off coming from Mauro Icardi.

In two matches Lukaku has scored two goals. He also managed to have Inter win and lead the Serie A standings.

However, Sandro Mazzola believes that what the Belgian bomber is doing is not enough. He was suspicious unless the player brought in from Manchester United was able to surpass Icardi's goal at Inter.

"I like being with players like Lukaku. But he will not be a striker like Icardi who can guarantee 25 goals in a season. But I'm also sure he will score a lot of goals, although not as many as Mauro, "Mazzola said as reported by DAZN on Thursday (12/09/2019).

"He is not able to score more goals because of his hard work to play as a team. His movements are very important, not only for himself, but also for other players. The midfielders were greatly helped along with their movements which often opened up space, "he continued.

If the Belgian bomber has found the best game scheme with I Nerazzuri, Icardi has not yet debuted with a new club, Paris Saint-Germain. He will most likely just pursue his joint debut with PSG this weekend while facing Strasbourg in the continuation of French Ligue 1.
