Players Ready to Become the First All-Stars in 2020

The 2019 NBA season is just a few months away, and fans are getting ready for the game's best stars to run for the NBA championship. The 2020 NBA All-Star game will be held at the United Center in Chicago, and we think there might be some new names on the East and West roster. Today we will see five players who have a great opportunity to make their first All-Star team. We started with one of the best young strikers in the NBA. Jayson Tatum has all the talents to become an All-Star. He averaged nearly 16 points per game and six rebounds per match last season for the Boston Celtics. He is a 40% career shooter from the 3-point line, and he can see his numbers improve this season with Kemba Walker taking over for Kyrie Irving in the point guard position. Walker is a dynamic goalscorer in himself, but we think he will do more to involve his team-mates, rather than having to carry such a heavy burden on the offensive ends. Pascal Siakam is another possible All-Star. In his first full season as a starter, Siakam was an excellent offensive weapon, producing 17 points and seven rebounds per game. The number jumped higher in the postseason, averaging 19 points per match while helping the Raptors to the NBA championship. Bright lights are not too big for Siakam. He has 32 points in Game 2 of the Finals, and he must prepare for a better 2019-20 season. Siakam will be the main offensive option in the new Raptors lineup. It's not surprising to us that CJ McCollum hasn't made an All-Star in his career. The West is loaded with extraordinary talent in guard positions, and if McCollum's level mate Damian Lillard is having trouble making a team, then we shouldn't expect McCollum to do it. This year will be different. Portland are in first place after their extraordinary postseason season, and tandem Lillard and McCollum must increase their exposure on the national stage. McCollum averaged 21-4-3 last season, and we think he can put up better numbers in 2019-20, up to 25 points per game.
