Pass through a fierce match, Spain win over Italy


Spain continued their positive trend at the 2019 World Cup. The national team of the Matador Affairs won over Italy in the second preliminary round. They won 67-60 at Wuhan Gymnasium, Wuhan, China, Friday, September 6, 2019.

Juancho Hernangomez became Spain's top scorer. He collected 16 points. The overall shot percentage reaches 60 percent.

Ricky Rubio, senior guard, then added 15 points. Sergio Llul is behind him with 11 points. They took turns filling the back side (backcourt) of Spain.

On the Italian side, Danilo Gallinari scored 15 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. While Luigi Datome contributed 12 points with a shot percentage of 50 percent. Both players are a scourge for the Spanish defense.

Italy even able to compete fiercely against Spain throughout the match. The Spageti National Team threatened from various sides. Spain must struggle to win.

Both teams drew 18-18 in quarter one. Italy then took over the score after narrowly winning 13-12 in the second quarter. Position changed to 31-30.

In the third quarter, Spain rose. They won 20-17 points. Spain took the lead. They won a total of 50-48.
