Neymar's father: negotiations between Barcelona and PSG have not ended
The summer transfer window closes. But that doesn't mean that the dialogue between Barcelona and PSG about the future of Brazilian striker Neymar is really over.
Neymar's desire to leave PSG has been known for several months. But for reasons why the world's most expensive player wants to leave, the public can still be limited to speculation.
It is said that he returned to the arms of the club which earned him his name, Barcelona. Even the negotiation process between the two clubs is already underway, said PSG director Leonardo at the end of August.
Unfortunately, Barcelona and PSG have not reached an agreement on the cost of moving players until the closing of the transfer window. As a result, Neymar must be patient at least until next January if he still wants to leave PSG.
However, the process of talks between Barcelona and PSG has not yet been completed. Neymar's father confirmed that the two teams had not fully discussed the future of the 28-year-old man.
"Negotiations between the two clubs are not over," Neymar Sr. said when they met at the Edinburgh Sports Conference, quoted by Goal International.
"A Brazilian player just wants to be in a place that makes him happy and he is very happy to be in Barcelona, when his friends ask if he wants to come back, it disappoints him," he continued.
According to available information, Barcelona offers new funds as well as two players, Ivan Rakitic and Ousmane Dembele. Barriers occur in one of the players included in the offer.
Goal reported that Rakitic had received a proposal from the French giant despite rumors of going to Juventus. But Dembele is still not interested in leaving Barcelona.
"As an agent, you feel weak when there is no structure that allows you to come and go," Neymar's father said.
