MU Not Good Enough So Challenging the Season Title
Manchester United legend Denis Irwin asks MU fans not to expect much from their team. Irwin thinks the Red Devils are not good enough to be serious contenders for the title this season.
Manchester United has shown a promising performance earlier this season. They swept their six pre-season matches with a win and threw Chelsea in the first week of the EPL with a score of 4-0.
But since the second week, United's performance tends to fall. They haven't won after taking two draws and one defeat in their last three EPL matches.
Irwin acknowledged that MU is currently not good enough to become a potential champion. "I understand that this team only scored two points from three matches," Irwin told Sky Sports.

More valuable
Irwin admitted that three matches without a win were a bad record for his former team.
But he felt the performance of adopted son Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was not too bad, considering the Red Devils deserve better results.
"These two points are unsatisfactory results, but if you see this team's match, then they should be able to get more points in those three matches."
Be patient
Irwin admitted that United fans must be patient with the current process of transformation of the Red Devils.
He thinks United are on the right track, so he thinks the Reds can be serious contenders for the title next season.
"We may have to be patient and accept that this team will not be a title contender this season, but this team must be there one day and they should play better than last season.
