Madrid Not Seriously Wanted Pogba

Eladio Parames, Jose Mourinho's friend, said Real Madrid was never serious in its intention to bring Paul Pogba from Manchester United during the 2019 summer transfer window.

Questions about Madrid's interest in Pogba have been a subject of intense discussion from the start of last season until the closing of the 2019 summer transfer window. The code has also been proposed by Madrilenian coach, Zinedine Zidane, to flatter Pogba.

Flattery was then sent back to Pogba stating that he was very honored if Zidane could be trained. After the code was released, no transfer offer was submitted by Madrid to Man United for Pogba.

Although Madrid has large funds in the summer transfer market in 2019. These large funds have instead been allocated to four players, namely Luka Jovic, Rodrygo, Ferland Mendy and Eden Hazard. Without minimizing the other three players, Hazard is the only big name that brought Madrid.
Judging from this fact, Madrid should be able to appeal to Pogba if he offers the right offer to Man United. However, Madrid failed to do so because of Pogba's trip to Man United, which is often in conflict. The most important conflict involving Pogba at Man United was his quarrel with Mourinho, who was then a tactician.

"Real Madrid's involvement is less tangible than it appears, in fact it is true that someday it will come out but they are not interested in opening a wallet. That if they buy, it also creates and creates problems in the dressing room. Therefore, there is no an official statement about interest, but only information to feed their fans, "Parames said, quoted by Express on Monday (9/9/2019).
