Lewandowski extended his contract until 2023

Munich - Robert Lewandowski reiterates his commitment to Bayern Munich. The Polish striker has just signed a new contract until 2023.

Lewandowski enters his sixth season in a Bayern shirt. Since his free transfer from Borussia Dortmund in 2014, Lewandowski has scored 197 goals in 246 appearances.

This goal record makes Lewandowski the player sought by Europe's biggest clubs, his name is associated with Real Madrid and Manchester United.
However, Lewandowski was not tempted to move and instead continued his term with the Bavarian club. Lewandowski has extended his contract for the next four years.

"Bayern has become my second home, and my family and I feel comfortable in Munich," Lewandowski told the club's official website.

"I am sure we can do many things in the next few years, Bayern are one of the three biggest clubs in the world, we have an extraordinary team, I am very proud to be part of this club," he continued.

This season, Lewandowski immediately bet on gasoline by scoring five goals in two Bundesliga matches, including a hat-trick against Schalke 04 last weekend.
