Kalinic and Mkhitaryan docked to Rome

Rome - Nikola Kalinic is one step away from being a Roma player after arriving in the Italian capital. Rome is reportedly also seeking the arrival of Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Reported by Italian Football, Kalinic, who did not enter into Diego Simeone's plans at Atletico, reportedly had agreed to a personal agreement with Rome a few days ago.

Kalinic has arrived at Fiumicino Airport, Rome, Sunday (01/09/2019) evening local time. The former Fiorentina and AC Milan striker will undergo a medical on Monday (2/9/2019) morning local time.

Roma will borrow Kalinic with a purchase option. The total funds to be spent by I Lupi for the Croatian striker are 10 million euros.

Meanwhile, Sky Sport Italia reports that Roma are also in negotiations with Arsenal for Mkhitaryan. Roma intends to borrow the Armenian midfielder.

Mkhitaryan is also not included in Unai Emery's plans this season. In the English League 2019/2020, he only played once as a starter and twice entered as a substitute.

Last season, Mkhitaryan made 22 appearances for Arsenal. The former Manchester United player produced four goals.
