Hattrick Lautaro Martinez, Argentina Bend Mexico 4-0
Argentina beat Mexico 4-0 in a friendly. Lautaro Martinez became the hero of La Albiceleste's victory with a three-goal mark.
Argentina will face Mexico in the Alamodome, Wednesday (09/09/2019) WIB at the trial party. Martinez appeared as the spearhead in this match, with Argentina without Lionel Messi and not playing Paulo Dybala as a starter.
Martinez opened the scoring for Argentina in the 17th minute using a Leandro Paredes pass. The goal stems from Nestor Araujo's mistake who lost the ball in the middle of the field.
Five minutes later, Argentina scored again. In the case of a counterattack, Araujo's attack is blocked by Martinez and falls at the foot of Exequiel Palacios. Palacios returns the ball to Martinez, who ends as a goal.
Argentina got a penalty in the 31st minute thanks to Carlos Salcedo's handball. Leandro Paredes advances as the executor and manages to kick the ball into the goal.
Argentina added advantage to 4-0 in the 39th minute. Martinez lost control. Araujo then returns the ball to the feet of Inter Milan striker. Martinez defeated Guillermo Ochoa with a kick between his legs.
Mexico tried to be more aggressive in the second half but didn't score too. Gerardo Martino's team only shot four times and 63% of goals, including one shot.
While Argentina has 17 trials, seven of them have achieved their goals.
