During one and a half seasons with Manchester United, Sanchez was considered a total failure because he was unable to display his best performance. Not wanting to continue to be blamed, the Chilean player finally decided to continue his career at Inter Milan as a loan player for the next season.

Guardiola then gave his support for Sanchez to continue his career with Inter. Guardiola, who worked with Sanchez, believes the Nerazzurri will be the right team for the player to restore his best form.
"Sata knows [Sanchez]. We have worked together in Barcelona," Guardiola said.

"Until now I still love him as a player. Especially as a human."

"He is an ordinary broad man, humble, and a fighter. Now he has decided to move to Italy with Inter which is one of the biggest teams in Europe. He will also be with one of the extraordinary managers, Antonio Conte."

"I'm pretty sure they will do well. I think how to play Inter really suits him."

"Moreover, he will play with [Romelu] Lukaku and in this position I think he will get a good period at Milan," he concluded.
