Diego Simeone Remains Proud Despite Atletico Failing To Win

Diego Simeone said he was not worried about Atletico Madrid's failure to win in the match against Celta Vigo on Saturday (9/21). He also stressed how his players continue to play even if they are just diving in the Champions League.

In the match against Celta Vigo, Alvaro Morata et al were frustrated. The meeting of Defense and Ruben Blanco showed that Rojiblancos had to be satisfied with the final score 0-0.

The result is the second consecutive Atletico have not yet reached the Laliga win this season. Last week, they had to submit to the office of the middle team standings, Real Sociedad with a final score of 2-0.

"We tried hard in the Champions League and this time succeeded in showing improved performance. I think the game was quite balanced in the first half for both teams," Diego Simeone was quoted as saying by Atletico Madrid's official website.

"In the second half, we tried various ways to get a goal. But we have failed to do it because Celta defended very well. However, I got a lot of positive things from the match," Simeone added.

This draw was made when host Celta Vigo kept Atletico from returning to the top of the ranking Laliga. Rojiblancos currently sits in third position with a collection of 10 points from five matches. Granada with the goal difference drift above.
