Chelsea finally returned Bakayoko to Monaco

Monaco - Tiemoue Bakayoko finally freed Chelsea. The 25-year-old midfielder has loaned the Blues to AS Monaco.

Chelsea announced the departure of Bakayoko, Sunday (01/09/2019) or the day before the closing of the transfer market. The Frenchman has been loaned out to Monaco one season, with a permanent suspension option.

Monaco is a Bakayoko club, before moving to Chelsea in 2017. With the London giants, Bakayoko failed to take first place.

Last season, Bakayoko also loaned Chelsea to AC Milan. However, his career in Italy was also not good with the Rossoneri reluctant to extend his loan.

Back at Chelsea this season, Bakayoko still hasn't won first place. Chief Frank Lampard finally chose to repatriate him to Monaco.

Bakayoko himself was happy to be back in France. In addition, he had fun with Monaco by winning the 2017/2017 French Champion title.

"I am very happy to be returning to AS Monaco, the club where I have a good memory," Bakayoko said on the official Monaco website.

"Since 2017, I have had the opportunity to have very good experience with Chelsea and Milan, I hope I can get along quickly with the team, in an environment that I know well, and especially with the determination to bring back a club that I know can do good season well, "he said.
