Before Liverpool vs Newcastle, Klopp revealed the latest conditions Alisson and Keita
LIVERPOOL - Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp spoke about the state of his team before the match entertaining Newcastle United at Anfield Stadium on Saturday (09/14/2019), at night. Klopp specifically spoke about the condition of two injured employees, namely Alison Becker and Naby Keita.
Klopp confirmed that Alisson and Keita's health status had improved. However, Klopp still does not know for sure when the two adopted children will return to graze with the Reds team - the nickname of Liverpool, especially Alisson.
Indeed, the German coach was aware of the injury suffered by Alisson and asked him a fairly long recovery period. Therefore, he did not want to put pressure on the Brazilian goalkeeper by urging him to immediately strengthen Liverpool.
The funny thing is, we (Klopp and Alisson) just had lunch together. It looks in good condition and is improving, but we can't keep pressing it. It was a very serious calf injury. "Now this is much better, of course, and it's good for us and good for him, but we don't know exactly (how long)," Klopp said, quoted from the official Liverpool website, Saturday 9/9 2019.
"Our goal is that after the next international break, he can be ready, but we don't know, so as I said, he did not press it and we hope that everything will be fine for him. The rest of the season is planned," he continued.
Meanwhile, for Keita, Klopp had the impression that the player would return earlier than Alisson to join Liverpool. He also hopes that this will happen when Liverpool travel to Naples headquarters on Wednesday 18 September 2019 in the early hours of Indonesia's western clock on the first day of the 2019-2020 Champions League.
Naby (Keita) also improved, better than Alisson. "I think he can be involved in training when we return from Naples next week," Klopp said.
