Aubameyang: Arsenal Should Win, Not Draw


London - Arsenal drew 2-2 against Tottenham Hotspur. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang felt that Arsenal deserved to win.

Playing at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday (01/09/2019) night WIB, Arsenal left 0-2 ahead of Tottenham. The Lilywhites' goals were scored by Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane's penalty.

New Arsenal can reduce the lag to 1-2 ahead of halftime. It was Alexandre Lacazette who conquered Hugo Lloris.

The London cannon successfully equalized in the 71st minute. Aubameyang tore Lloris's goal to close the game 2-2.

Arsenal dominated the game with 55% possession. Unai Emery's team were also able to open 26 shots with eight aiming at goal and Tottenham nine on target from 13 experiments.

"I think in the first half we deserved to score two goals. We did a great job. It was a difficult match and I think we deserved more," Aubameyang was quoted as saying by the BBC.

"It was a good pass from Guendouzi (equalizer) - he saw me and he knew I would run. I like to play as a striker but when the team needs me on my wing, I will try my best," he stressed.

An additional one point puts Arsenal in fifth place in the Premier League with seven points, losing on goal difference to Crystal Palace. Tottenham sit in ninth position with five points.
