Harry Kane to the Referee: Where's the Penalty for Me?

Harry Kane thinks he deserves a penalty ahead of the Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur match, although many say he is actually diving.

Arsenal vs Tottenham match which was held at the Emirates Stadium on Miggu (1/9/2019) WIB ended in a 2-2 draw. The Gunners managed to make a comeback, after being behind 0-2 before the Lilywhites.

Tottenham scored with Christian Eriksen's feet and a Harry Kane penalty kick in the first half. Arsenal responded by goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.


Tottenham had hoped for a second penalty at the end of the match, after Kane was dropped by Sokratis Papastathopoulos from behind in the forbidden box. But the referee did not give the gift 12 kick right to Spurs.

Kane was disappointed with the referee's decision. According to him, he should get a penalty at the time.

"I think I should get a penalty. The game was still running when he (Sokratis) tackled," Kane said as quoted by The Sun.

"The situation is 50 to 50 for the referee, I'm just trying to protect the ball," he added.

The incident was quite seized the attention of the fans in cyberspace. Not a few who argue that the 26-year-old striker diving.

"Harry Kane is diving again, how shocked," commented his Twitter account @ zackoten1

"Harry Kane is a scamper," cheered Arsenal fans with an account @ EdTA6

"Kane's disgusting diving is one of the biggest cheats in the Premier League. Take a look," added the other Gunners fans while embedding videos of the fall of Kane.
