Ancelotti Murka because of the slow renovation of San Paolo
Napoli - Napoli coach Carlo Ancelotti made a strong statement about the renovation of the San Paolo stadium. He was disappointed because the repairs were not as promised.
Naples headquarters, San Paolo stadium, has been renovated this summer. The Naples city council took over the holding of the Olympic Games between students which took place there last July.
In addition, the increase is also part of the agreement with the club to develop arena matches. As a result of this evolution, Napoli will have to face away matches in the first two weeks of the 2019/2020 Italian League at the Fiorentina and Juventus headquarters.
But Ancelotti was disappointed to see the situation of San Paolo, especially the dressing room. The former AC Milan coach was surprised to find that repairs to the locker room had not been made, even after two months.
"When I saw the state of the dressing room at San Paolo, I was speechless and accepted the club's request to play the first two Serie A matches so that repairs could be completed as promised," Ancelotti said on Napoli's official website.
"You can build a house in two months, but they can't fix the dressing room, where will our team prepare for the match against Sampdoria and Liverpool?" Ancelotti's complaint.
"I am very angry at the incompetence and lack of professionalism of those who do this work, how can the city council ignore the commitments made to us?"
"I see insults and a lack of interest in the team, the club and the city and I am very disappointed," he said.
