Rather than manager, Iannone is more interested in becoming Fenati's coach

Andrea Iannone denied being the manager of one of the 2019 Moto3 participants, Romano Fenati. However, Iannone admitted he was more interested in becoming a racing coach than managing Fenati.

As we know, there have been rumors recently that Iannone wants to become director of Fenati. Rumors have spread that Fenati has met Iannone several times to discuss this issue.

However, this seems like just an ordinary rumor. Because some time ago, Iannone said that when he was still focused on a racing career in the Aprilia team, he didn't want to be another runner's manager.

Even so, that didn't mean that Iannone really didn't want to get involved in Fenati's career path as a professional runner. Yes, Iannone admits he is ready if he is appointed as racing coach of Fenati at the World Championships next year.

As for problems outside the track, we will see later. It is impossible to change everything. My brother will watch Romano for two or three races and then, he will know what is best for both of us, "Iannone said, quoted by GPOne, Saturday (09/14/2019).

But we clearly have everything to help young drivers like Romano develop. I have a good home base with a gym, office and trainer, "said the runner nicknamed The Maniac Joe.

"I think Romano has a lot of potential, obviously he is a great racer with many talents, but he also needs advice, and when you are 18-19, it is very easy to get lost. We will try to help Romano as best we can," he concluded.
