President Gremio Underestimates Liverpool

President Gremio, Romildo Bolzan Jr., underestimated the power of Liverpool. He thinks his team can beat the Reds if they meet in the 2019 World Club Cup.
"The World Cup favorite club is still a European team, and I'm sure Liverpool are not as scary as Real Madrid, which we faced in 2017. Liverpool are a team that can be defeated by us Flamengo, Boca Juniors and River Plate, while Madrid is Los Galacticos, full of stars," Bolzan said to Fox Sports.

"We lost 0-1 to Real Madrid in 2017. We can force matches in the play-offs and that can happen, as we did with Ajax in 1995, where we lost, and with Hamburg in 1983," added Bolzan.
Stuart Pearce will beat Manchester City in the Premier League this season.

Liverpool, last season's Champions League winner, received an automatic ticket for the 2019 Club World Club Cup. As a European representative, the Reds will soon participate in the semi-finals. That is also the same as the representatives of South America.

Although the 2019 Club World Cup took place in December, Romildo Bolzan Jr was optimistic that his team could defeat Jurgen Klopp's troops if they appeared in the competition.

As we know, the Copa Libertadores 2019 entered the semifinals and Flamengo, Boca Junior, River Plate and Gremio competed for the trophy.

The 2019 Club World Cup will run from 11 to 21 December 2019. Seven teams from six continents will compete for the title.
