MU Claimed to Suffer Without Romelu Lukaku
Former Manchester United player Owen Hargreaves is worried about the Red Devils decision to release Romelu Lukaku. He felt that the red demons would have difficulty scoring goals because they did not have a stock of experienced attackers on their team.
This summer, Manchester United have decided to sell Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan. The Belgian national team striker was sold for £ 74 million.
But United did not buy a replacement for Lukaku this summer. They even released one of their attackers, Alexis Sanchez, on loan at Inter Milan.
Hargreaves believes that United's decision is too risky for the survival of his team. "It's unfortunate he [Lukaku] left because I liked him," Hargreaves told Premier League Production.

Hargreaves thinks United are in a vulnerable position when he didn't bring Lukaku's replacement this summer.
He felt that the United striker who was owned at that time was not experienced enough to be considered their goal.
"I think Lukaku is an extraordinary player, and United currently need striker number 9. Sanchez is missing, just like Lukaku, so they must be able to overcome this line of attack."
On this occasion, Hargreaves commented on the last two MU attackers, namely Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford. He considered the two players had different appearances at the beginning of this season.
"At this time, Martial took shirt number nine and so far, he has behaved perfectly in this position."
"Rashford has the opportunity to play as a center forward against Southampton, but he missed that opportunity, and I don't know whether he will play as # 9 striker or play on the left side. I don't think he is playing optimally in this match."
Besides Martial and Rashford, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will also rely on one of his young strikers in the 2019/2020 season.
