Manchester United Immediately Extend David De Gea's Contract
According to rumors, Manchester United, the Premier League giants, must immediately extend their contract with main goalkeeper, David De Gea.
De Gea's contract with Manchester United is currently out of stock at the end of the season. The Red Devils are trying to convince the 28-year-old goalkeeper to sign a new contract since 2018.
De Gea's less impressive appearance since last season has prompted a number of interested clubs to slowly retire from hunting at De Gea. However, this condition does not require De Gea to immediately sign a new contract.
Now, as reported by The Guardian, Manchester United finally managed to melt the heart of De Gea. The Spanish goalkeeper then signed a new contract with United.
De Gea will agree to offer United a salary of £ 290,000 per week, equivalent to Paul Pogba's nominal salary.
The news also rejected previous rumors that De Gea still refused to offer a new contract to United.
United's director, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, was appointed last December to try to convince his pillars that their future was at Old Trafford.
Last January, United managed to extend striker Anthony Martial's contract. A number of other players soon followed.
Manchester United itself still cannot play regularly in the 2019-20 Premier League this season. So far, Solskjaer's troops are still scattered eighth.
