Manchester City hunts for central defender in January 2020
Manchester City, the Premier League champions, are reported to have begun developing their transfer plans for January 2020. It is hoped that citizens will give priority to the transfer of a new central defender this summer.
This summer Manchester City have lost one of their best central defenders. They had to leave the departure of Vincent Kompany who decided to settle in Anderlecht.
Yesterday, in the transfer market, The Citizens did not try to find Kompany's replacement. They are also classified as owners of large stores that are not very active this summer.
But according to Goal International, City had begun to feel the effects of Kompany's departure. For this, they plan to buy a new center in January.

Initially, Manchester City did not intend to buy a new center. But their plans must change after Aymeric Laporte is injured.
The French team defender suffered a serious injury this weekend. Defender will be long absent from the team.
Laporte's absence has strengthened City's defensive line, which has decided to look for a new center back in the near future.
In the absence of Laporte and Kompany's departure, Pep Guardiola has only very limited options in defense.
So far, he can only rely on their two main defenders, Nicolas Otamendy and John Stones, who have a natural position as a central defender.
If one of the two defenders is injured, Fernandinho will most likely be converted into an impromptu central defender in the resident team.
