Germany vs Netherlands Results: Score 2-4

The Netherlands has managed to humiliate Germany 4-2 in the UEFA Group C qualifying match 2020 Group C, which was held in Volksparkstadion, Hamburg, Saturday (7/9/2019)), very early in the morning.

The goal chase occurs in this match. Germany took the lead in the first half thanks to a goal from Serge Gnabry before being leveled by Frenkie de Jong in the second round.

The Netherlands also reversed the situation by scoring a goal against Jonathan Tah, before returning to Toni Kroos's penalty. The visitors sealed the win thanks to goals from Donyell Malen and Georginio Wijnaldum.

Despite winning, the Netherlands are still not ahead of third place with 6 points, while Germany remains stuck in second place with 9 points.

The game

The game runs from the first minute. Germany quickly took the lead, in the ninth minute to be precise, thanks to a goal scored by Gnabry using Luke Klostermann's rebound ball blocked by Jasper Cillessen.

Arriving in the first round, Germany has a golden opportunity to double the advantage. Unfortunately, Reus shot from close range can still be countered by Cillessen.

Returning from the dressing room, the Dutch managed to get up and finally equalized in the 59th minute thanks to De Jong's actions to continue to help Ryan Babel. The score is now as strong as 1-1.

This goal further strengthens the mentality of the Dutch team. Ronald Koeman's team managed to take the lead in the 66th minute after a Memphis Depay cross made Jonathan Tah deflected by the opposing goalkeeper.

Five minutes later, Germany were awarded a penalty after a ball sent by Nico Schulz touched Matthijs Ligt in the restricted area. Kroos who acted as executioner also did his job perfectly.

Unfortunately, this dynamic cannot be used by Germany to regain excellence. Instead, they conceded in the 79th minute.

Beginner Donyell Malen was able to break through Manuel Neuer's goals after continuing as an assistant to Wijnaldum following a sophisticated attack scheme developed by the Dutch.

The German effort to rise increasingly difficult after Wijnaldum managed to expand the benefits of the Netherlands when the match began at the appointed time. Score 4-2 for the Dutch victory is the final result of this fight.
