England will be extra careful against Kosovo shock team

England will be extra careful of facing Kosovo, the surprise team in Group A of the 2020 European Cup qualifiers,

England performed fantastic in the 2020 European Cup qualifiers, winning three of the three Group A qualifying opportunities and topping the group standings. Gareth Southgate's squad hopes to make it four wins out of four against Kosovo, which are also currently unbeaten, on Wednesday's match at St Mary’s Stadium.

The Three Lions could be a little complacent after beating Bulgaria with a big score 4-0 last Saturday. Against inferior opposition, England created many scoring opportunities, with Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling having no trouble scoring.

Gareth Southgate's squad has now scored 14 goals in three qualifying matches, scoring at least four goals from each of those three matches. They only conceded one goal and not conceded in two of their home games.

But England are not the only team that enjoys easy opponents in Group A. Kosovo - which is only half the country and not yet fully recognized by the UN - also continues to show its existence to everyone on Saturday (7/9). Although one goal was left behind, Bernard Challandes's team was able to get up and win 2-1 over the Czechs.

Kosovo, who are currently the most undefeated team of any team in Europe, haven't felt defeat at all in Group A and it's not hard to see the reason.

The Balkan country team has developed the habit of creating more chances, while at the same time they also prevent opponents from developing the game. Kosovo travel to St Mary Stadium after conceding in four of their matches, but only conceding more than one goal in one of those four matches.

On average they only give their opponents the chance to score 0.73 goals, which tells us that they are not easy opponents to deal with. Kosovo have scored better goalscoring opportunities and shots on target than their opponents in three of Group A's four preliminaries.

Kosovo's unbeaten run will likely end in the match later. Although in general Kosovo survived well, but they have not recorded a clean sheet. That means it will be very difficult to prevent players like Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling from breaking into their goalposts.

However, after scoring in all Group A preliminary matches and having created a chance to score 1.9 goals in their last away game, Kosovo are also expected to break the Three Lions goal on Wednesday. Prediction score of England vs Kosovo 2-1.
