Bayern were enthusiastic about Tottenham Champions League finalists last season

Munich - Bayern Munich are in a group with Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League. Bayern are very happy with the Champions League finalists last season.

The 2019/2020 Champions League group draw phase was held at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco on Thursday evening August 29th. The results of the draw put Bayern in Group B with Tottenham, Olympiakos and Red Star Belgrade.

The draw was welcomed with enthusiasm by Bayern Penggawa. Against Tottenham, last season's Champions League finalists, Bayern are determined to show that they can still compete at the highest level in Europe.

Personally, I'm happy that last season's Champions League finalists are part of our group. "This is a good opportunity for us to prove that we are at the highest level of Europe against Tottenham," Bayern defender Joshua Kimmich told the club's official website.

"As FC Bayern, our ambition is to win the group," he added.

Tottenham qualified for the Champions League final last season when they had to settle for second place after beating Liverpool. Although Bayern advanced only up to 16 years after being stopped by Liverpool.
