Alisson must miss seven matches for Liverpool
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Alison Becker could miss up to seven matches in the future or until mid-October 2019.
The Brazilian goalkeeper has suffered a calf injury. Liverpool's inaugural match in the Premier League was not well lived, precisely when it was against Norwich City.
The wound is quite serious. But we don't know exactly when Alisson will be able to graze again with Liverpool.
It's been good news not long ago. The 26-year-old goalkeeper can train again.
But apparently, Alisson certainly will not be able to graze in the near future. Klopp acknowledged that the condition of the goalkeeper has improved.
However, he did not want to force Alisson to immediately play. He is also waiting for his recovery until next October.
"What's fun is that we have lunch together [now];" "It looks good and improved, but we can't delete it," Klopp said on Liverpool's official website.
"It was a very serious calf injury." This is much better, of course, and it's good for us and good for him, but we don't know exactly [how long he will be gone], "he explained.
"The target is still after the next international break [he] might be ready, but we don't know." "So, as I said, there is no pressure and I hope all will be well for the rest of the season, that's what was planned," he exclaimed.
If Alisson is absent until next October, he will be absent in matches against Newcastle, Chelsea, Sheffield United and Leicester City in the Premier League. He will also miss matches against Naples and Salzburg in the Champions League and possibly in the match against MK Dons in the Carabao Cup.
Klopp then revealed the development of injury recovery among other Liverpool players. He first presented an update to Naby Keita.
The Guinea midfielder has suffered a pelvic injury. He missed the last Liverpool match.
"Naby is almost (immediately grazing), faster than Ali." "I think he can participate in training when we return from Naples next week," he said.
Klopp added: "Clyney and Paul Glatzel, they are clearly still a long way off, but they also made big strides. [The rest of the players] look pretty good at the moment," concluded Klopp.
This weekend, Liverpool will face Newcastle at Anfield. Jurgen Klopp will try to continue the positive tendencies of the Reds who so far have continued to win in the Premier League.
