Offered Philippe Coutinho, Pep Guardiola said no
Rich club Premier League, Manchester City will be offered by Barcelona to borrow Philippe Coutinho. But manager Josep Guardiola refused the offer.
Coutinho has indeed become one of the mainstay products of the transfer market yesterday. The 27-year-old wants to find a new club to find his best performance.
Barcelona also want to release Coutinho. The Catalan club has therefore offered Brazilian international midfielders to several clubs.
Guardiola's refusal
Reported by TV3, one of the clubs that accepted Barca's offer to recruit Coutinho was Manchester City. Incidentally, the relationship between Barca and City is quite close thanks to the presence of Txiki Begiristain.
But City decided not to accept the offer. The reason is Guardiola's refusal. Bald-headed characters will not claim to attract Coutinho.
Guardiola's offensive midfielder is indeed very abundant with players like Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva and Bernardo Silva.
To go to Bayern Munich
Coutinho finally found a new club after Bayern Munich had agreed to borrow him from Barcelona for the season accompanied by a permanent purchase option.
This move also ended the unpleasant period of Coutinho at Barcelona, only one and a half years after he was recruited at Liverpool at a cost of around 160 million euros.
