Norwich City vs Manchester City results: 2-3

Manchester City were forced to kneel while visiting Norwich City headquarters during the fifth week of the Premier League on Saturday (09/14/19). Playing on Carrow Road, residents leave with a score of 2-3.

Norwich's three winning goals were scored by Kenny McLean, Todd Cantwell and Teemu Puki. Meanwhile, City can only score through Sergio Aguero and Rodri.

City appears immediately after the start of the match. Raheem Sterling tried his luck in the 12th minute but his shot was blocked by the Norwich players.

Norwich managed to open the score in the 18th minute. Kenny McLaen's header using Emiliano Buendia's corner was able to tear Ederson Moraes's goal to City.

Left behind one goal, City tried to answer. Raheem Sterling opened fire from outside the penalty area but still did not reach the target.

Instead of equalizing, City goalkeeper conceded again in the 28th minute. After the counterattack, Todd Cantwell scored the second goal for Norwich after using Teemu Pukki's pass.

City in the end can reduce the position in the 45th minute thanks to a header from Sergio Aguero. Score 2-1 for the superiority of the host remained until the end of the first round match.


Second round

In the second half, City tried to improve their appearance. However, what happened was their goal of conceding again.

This time it was Teemu Pukki's turn to put his name on the dashboard. The Finn scored a goal in the 50th minute after using Teemu Pukki's pass.

Sergio Aguero almost scored when the match came in the 78th minute. However, the head of the Argentine bomber is still too high.

Nicolas Otamendi tried his luck in the 87th minute. However, his goalkeeper can still be thwarted by Norwich goalkeeper, Team Krul.

Rodri finally managed to break through the Norwich goal after 88 minutes, and made the score 3-2 with a right-footed shot from outside the penalty area.

Rodri scored a goal that could stimulate the enthusiasm of City players to find additional goals. However, the efforts of Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus did not produce results.

Until the referee whistled for a long time, no additional goals were scored by both teams. Norwich also won 3-2 over defending champions.

Despite losing, City are still ranked second with 10 points in five matches. Meanwhile, Norwich climbed to 12th place with six points.
