'Neymar is better than Hazard, just lost to Messi-Ronaldo'

The Brazilian national team coach, Tite, assessed the quality of Neymar. The 27-year-old was considered better than Eden Hazard, but still lost to Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Neymar still bears the most expensive player in the world. He was redeemed by Paris Saint-Germain from Barcelona with a transfer value of 222 million euros or more than Rp 3 trillion.

Together with PSG, Neymar is contributing okay. He has recorded 51 goals in 58 matches in all competitions.

In this era, there are still Ronaldo and Lionel Messi as prominent players. Both duopoly emblazoned on the Ballon d'Or winning list, Messi-Ronaldo each won five titles.

Tite, who gave Neymar quality grades, also mentioned Hazard's name as the top player of generation with Neymar.

"From the quality of individual techniques, I put Lionel Messi and Critiano Ronaldo because they are a different generation," Tite said on Sportskeeda.

"From there, I determine another generation: (Neymar) and Eden Hazard are two great players for me. One advantage Neymar has over Hazard is they think they are the same but he executes faster. He is unstoppable," he added.

Neymar is currently joining the Brazilian national team for a friendly match. Selecao is scheduled to try Colombia and Peru on FIFA matchday in September.
