MU Does Not Win in Three Games, Here's Solskjaer's Reasons

Manchester United (MU) are without a win in three straight matches. MU manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reasoned that his team did not perform well enough in front of goal.
MU were held to a 1-1 draw by Southampton at St Marry on Saturday (8/31/2019) evening hrs. This match is MU's fourth match in the English Premier League 2019/2020 season.

In the two previous matches, Manchester United also failed to win. Paul Pogba and his friends were held 1-1 by Wolves and lost 1-2 to Crystal Palace.

MU so far only won over Chelsea in the first week. Regarding the draw against Southampton, Solskjaer has a number of reasons.

Poor Settlement

Solskjaer feels that his players did not play poorly in the match against Soton. MU is able to appear in accordance with his expectations. There are many opportunities created, but only one is scored.

Solskjaer sees the final solution as MU's main problem. "We got the performance we wanted and in that phase we should have scored the second, third and completed the match. We were not clinical enough," Solskjaer was quoted as saying by BT Sports.

MU indeed opened the fight well. Daniel James scored in the 19th minute. However, Jannik Vestergaard scored in the 58th minute. Soton played with ten players since the 73rd minute after Danso's red card.

"We have a lot of opportunities, that's all we missed," the 46-year-old manager said.
