Mohamed One Claimed It's Difficult to Match Lionel Messi

Former Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger revealed his opinion about Mohamed Salah's performance. Wenger said that Salah would be difficult to be the best player in the world if he played too selfishly.

Salah's name has skyrocketed since he moved to Liverpool in 2017 yesterday. He managed to package a total of 42 goals in his inaugural season with the Reds.

In his second season, Salah did not score as many goals as his inaugural season. But he was able to deliver Liverpool to the Champions League last season.

Wenger believes that Salah must play wiser if he wants to become the world's best player like Messi. "One does have similarities with Messi, but he must find consistency like Messi,"
 Wenger told beIN Sport.
Wenger also found that the one that made it difficult for Salah to become the world's best player like Messi because he tended to be more selfish.

"I know that Salah is a player who has a good final settlement. But Messi is a complete package player."
"He not only made goals but also provided assists, while Salah was more obsessed with completing all his own chances."

Wenger himself thinks that Salah's selfishness is a normal situation. He considered that selfishness will fade away when he is more mature.

"When he is more mature, there will be a new dimension in his game. He will find that providing feedback will make more sense than trying to execute the opportunity himself."
"But I myself really like Salah. He has enormous potential." he said.

Salah himself has made a neat start in the Liverpool squad this season.
He made 3 goals and 2 assists in the first four games of the Reds this season.
