Lukaku was very happy to finally be able to work with Conte

Romelu Lukaku has joined Inter Milan, coached by Antonio Conte. The Belgian was really happy to finally be able to work with Conte.
Lukaku joined the Nerazzurri from Manchester United this summer. He was bailed out with a transfer value of 65 million euros, plus a bonus of 10 million euros.
With Inter, Lukaku had a good start in Serie A. In two matches, the 26-year-old has always scored goals.

Lukaku's sharpness continued while defending the Belgian national team. He scored one goal when the Red Devils beat Scotland 4-0.
Lukaku has been wanted by Conte since 2017/2018. At that time, Conte was still handling Chelsea. Lukaku did not dock at the west London club at that time, instead chose Manchester United.

"Finally, I worked with Conte, the coach who really wanted me for a long time," Lukaku said as reported by Italian Football.
"The Nerazzurri have a good group, like here, in the national team. I scored a good goal and we were very dangerous during the counterattack."

"It is important that the team play like this. We show concentration and intensity and we score some good goals," he added.
