It was revealed, Paul Pogba could not go to Real Madrid because of Adidas

The adidas sports equipment company will be the reason why Paul Pogba was not moved from Manchester United to Real Madrid last summer.

Throughout last summer, Pogba was tightly tied to the Manchester United exit. In fact, the player himself has stated that it's time to look for challenges at other clubs.

Real Madrid and his former club, Juventus, are excellent candidates for Pogba's goals. Until the closing of the transfer window, the 26-year-old midfielder stayed at Old Trafford.

Reported by the Daily Star, the Pogba movement did not appear to have materialized after a request from adidas. The German company begged Pogba to stay at least one more season.

As we know, adidas is Pogba's personal sponsor. On the other hand, they also have a partnership with Manchester United worth 750 million pounds until 2024.
