Chelsea Legend: Abraham Needn't Listen to Criticism

Former Chelsea bomber Pierluigi Casiraghi asked Tammy Abraham to close his ears and not listen to criticism. He also wants the 21-year-old to focus on the Blues.

"Abraham started the season very well, he has talent and quality, so I hope he can do all the competitions at this level," Casiraghi said at Soccerway.

"He is a young man who has to turn a deaf ear and not listen to criticism, and to grow up at Chelsea you have to make mistakes and he has the right to do it."

Abraham has scored four goals in his last two league appearances for Chelsea. This makes players flooded with praise.

Previously, he was criticized for being barren in the first two matches. In fact, manager Frank Lampard gave him number 9 and is likely to be a starter.

On this occasion, Casiraghi also talked about Lampard's courage to provide opportunities for young players like Abraham and Mason Mount.

"Lampard has a good chance, he will play his cards without losing anything, and I am sure he will be able to surpass himself, he likes young players and that makes him respected," Casiraghi said.

Chelsea are 11th in the English league. The Blues have five points in four matches.
