Beckham Interested in Becoming England's National Team Coach

David Beckham claimed to be interested in training the England national team. However, for now Gareth Southgate is still considered the right figure.

Since retiring from the 2013 gridiron, Beckham is no longer involved in a world that has raised his name. He is more active in social activities as well as chatting with family.

Having a great reputation as a player, Beckham is of course always busy with the question "Does he want to be a coach?" Moreover, his classmates, especially in Class of 92 'Manchester United, have already plunged into that world.

In an interview with GQ Magazine, Beckham admitted that training England was his dream. He will be very happy if you get the offer.
If someone asks me if I want to train the England national team, of course I will consider it. I am a British citizen, and I have a love for the national team. But do I fit the position? Who knows, right? "Beckham said.

"I think some people in the FA have seen me as a candidate for England manager, because I used to have a successful career as national team captain," he continued.

Although interested, Victoria Adams's husband said Southgate was still the right person to lead Harry Kane et al. He acknowledged that Southgate has brought back passion in the Three Lions squad, especially after a good performance at the 2018 World Cup.

"Gareth has done an extraordinary job for the national team at this time. He managed to bring back passion and energy to the team on the field. The fans also enjoyed the match, including me," he concluded.

During his active play, Beckham had 115 caps with the national team from 1996 to 2009 with a score of 17 goals.
