Manchester United Want to "Duet" Solskjaer with Edwin Van Der Sar

Manchester United plans to recall former Dutch goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar. Red Devils management plans to give van der Sar the post of director of football.

Daily Mail Report, Sunday (9/8/2019) Manchester United CEO Ed Woodward wants van der Sar to help Solskjaer later buy new players in the transfer market.

For now, van der Sar's status is still under contract with Ajax Amsterdam. He is now the CEO of Ajax Amsterdam. As CEO of Ajax, van der Sar has an excellent track record when he was still a goalkeeper.

Ajax gave van der Sar a 220 million pound profit from the sale of several star players. It is interesting to note that Ajax had no difficulty in returning to the country to present a star candidate. This is of course because he is supported by a very good coach in the soccer academy.

Before the name van der Sar appeared, a number of former Manchester United players were also rumored to hold the position of director of football.

Ed Woordward will have the opportunity to chat with former players like Rio Ferdinand and Darren Fletcher. But both of them have no experience in the field of club management.
