Arsenal Legend: David Luiz Will Learn from His Mistakes

Per Mertesacker, an Arsenal legend, said he was sure David Luiz would learn from some of his mistakes with the Gunners earlier this season.

Luiz joined Arsenal from Chelsea in the last transfer window. Brasul players immediately become the first choice, but often make mistakes.

He performed poorly against Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur. However, Mertesacker thinks Luiz will get out of trouble.

"I think Luiz will learn from his mistakes on the pitch, but he is very comfortable with Arsenal," Mertesacker told Soccerway.

"That's what I saw, so we are happy to have it, it brings something different to the team, so I think he can learn and improve his game as a player. Arsenal."

"I think we have an imbalance now, where you feel good, we have great strikers, but they also have to understand that you have to be compact."
