Messi sends a warning to Barcelona

Former Barcelona president, Joan Gaspart, said Lionel Messi warned the club he did not like the way it worked.

Previously, there was news that Messi was responsible for his own future at Barca. He might be free to leave Camp Nou at the end of the season if he wants.

This is stated in the contract clause. After that, Messi finally opened the sound in the clause.
The Argentine star did not say he wants to leave Barcelona. But he also hinted that he was not fully involved in the club.

"I cannot confirm anything because my contract and Barcelona cannot be disclosed," Messi told Sport.
"What I can say now is that I want to stay in Barcelona for as long as possible, and I have said throughout my career that this club is my homeland."

"I don't want to have a long-term contract at this club because I want to be here. I want to be at this club because I am still physically fit to play in this team and I want to stay in this team."
But Gaspart believes that Messi really sent a message that was hidden in the statement. He claims that La Pulga did send a warning to Barca.

"[Andres] Iniesta and Xavi have this type of contract in their contract, that is not new," he told Cadena Ser.
"What Messi is part of Barca's philosophy." "I know him well and I don't think his words are a challenge for the club because it's not his style," he said.

"After each statement, the word" but "appears and, although the club can understand it as irrelevant, I think it's a warning that he doesn't like the way the club works," Gaspart said.
Lionel Messi himself has already hinted that he is disappointed with Neymar's transfer to Barcelona. He doesn't think the Blaugrana really want it back from PSG.
