AC Milan is close to recruiting Ante Rebic from Frankfurt

Milan - AC Milan will appoint new players before the closure of the European transfer market. Milan are just a step away from recruiting Ante Rebic at Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Rossoneri have reached an agreement with Frankfurt for the second Croatian striker's transfer against a transfer amount of around 25 to 30 million euros. Rebic is currently in Milan to complete his move before closing the market today (02/09/2019), local time.

"I am very happy to be here, Forza Milan," Rebic was quoted as saying by Omnisport.

Rebic spent four seasons in Frankfurt, scoring 25 goals and 12 assists in all competitions. The 25-year-old footballer's transfer will involve André Silva, who will be sent in the opposite direction.

"It looks like we will have a barter agreement, Ante Rebic wants to join AC Milan, and everything is going well, Andre Silva will join us," Frankfurt coach Adi Hutter said.

"Ante wants to be a member of a big club and everyone is happy with the situation."

Rebic became the mainstay of Croatia's participation in the 2018 World Cup final. Rebic took part in six of Croatia's seven matches by scoring goals.
